01The Brief
A bedroom and sitting room to be reworked into one bright, sociable space, with somewhere to sleep, work and gather, and colour treated as part of the architecture.

02The Design Response
Colour blocking in teal, magenta, yellow and navy wraps the wall and frames the desk and screen. The pieces were made for the room: a circular upholstered headboard, a navy writing desk and a round white table on red sphere legs.
A striped flat-weave rug, glazed garden stools and low seating in bright upholstery keep the room playful, and easy to live in every day.
